We were looking for a puppy as first-time dog owners. We researched breeds that would fit our lifestyle - condo sized, friendly with kids and adults, would enjoy being active and car rides. We wanted to work with an ethical breeder and one that can help us raise Elliott. Kelly always helped us answer any questions we had about Elliott’s health as he was going through his puppy phase. Milldamcreek cares for all their pups as their own. We call Kelly, Elliott’s godmother. We now have two friends that have gotten pups from Milldamcreek so Elliott can have playdates with his half-sister and “cousin”. I just wanted to send a few pictures your way. I know he hasn't been gone that long, but just wanted to show you how well he's fitting in. I can tell you he has melted our hearts, and that little face is just the cutest. We have quite a few people who have asked where he was from, so kudos for the awesome job. The cats have finally gotten used to him and looks like the boundaries have been set. In all honesty, he really isn't too interested in the cats, he tends to want to be pretty close to us at all times. It's so cute!"

Dear Bernie, Norma, Kelly and Hannah,
We wanted to send a quick note and update to let you know how thrilled we are with Fern. We weren't sure how having a new puppy would work out for us - as Cassidy spends time in 2 households and leads a very busy schedule. Whatever puppy was chosen, would have to be adaptable, very well socialized and trainable to fit in. Fern is all of that and more. We are impressed with how social she is - and how friendly she is with any person or dog. She seamlessly alternates between farm dog life where she has free run of the property, to city life where she's in hand on a leash . She was easy to crate train and loves to travel. Overall, the experience getting Fern from a trusted breeder was second to none. There was confidence in purchasing from a family with deep roots in the livestock industry - people that know animals and understand the role that genetics play in their social and physical development. The fact that the litter that Fern came from was raised in a home and treated like family is certainly seen in her confident and gentle nature. Thank you! Zoë has been part of our family for just over two years now. Since bringing her home at 8 weeks old, we can say without a doubt that she was the best decision we have ever made. She brings so much joy to our lives.

I had a great experience adopting a puppy through Milldamcreek. They were quick at answering my questions and accommodated me whenever I wanted to visit my puppy! When I picked a new name for him, they started calling him that right away, which was great because he was more used to it by the time he came home with us. They even prepared a cute little take-home package to help with the transition. The puppies are raised in a house with a large backyard so they get lots of fresh air and exercise. The house is also pretty busy so the pups are well socialized with other dogs, adults, etc. If I ever decide to get another puppy, I would more than likely return to Milldamcreek.

Milldamcreek Miniature American Shepherds has made the process of getting a dog very easy and they have supported me since the day I messaged them. Not only have they helped me through the process of choosing a dog, but they have supported me every day since I brought Flynn home. If I need help with grooming or even training suggestions, they have been there for every question. This was my first experience with this breed and I will forever be grateful.
