We got Skye from Milldamcreek in 2019 from Baileys final litter with Monty. Since then, she has become my best friend and my better half. I could not have asked for a more loyal companion! Skye is a true testament to her breed. She is athletic, intelligent, and willing. Everything a MAS should be!

Kelly has been such an asset in raising Skye. It is important to me to have a good relationship with our breeder, and Kelly makes that easy! Whether I have a question about grooming, health, or anything dog related, she always gives me her honest professional opinion.

I’ve gotten to spend time away with a variety of MDC dogs at shows or different events, and these lines just continue to amaze me! Kelly has bred some of the top MAS in CKC agility and has piloted her program to their CKC Grand Championships in conformation. Her dogs are friendly, funny, and sound. She breeds for versatility which is why I would recommend Milldamcreek to both first time puppy buyers and seasoned dog owners. I am forever grateful for this program!

We were looking for a puppy as first-time dog owners. We researched breeds that would fit our lifestyle - condo sized, friendly with kids and adults, would enjoy being active and car rides. We wanted to work with an ethical breeder and one that can help us raise Elliott. Kelly always helped us answer any questions we had about Elliott’s health as he was going through his puppy phase. Dear Bernie, Norma, Kelly and Hannah,
We wanted to send a quick note and update to let you know how thrilled we are with Fern. We weren't sure how having a new puppy would work out for us - as Cassidy spends time in 2 households and leads a very busy schedule. Whatever puppy was chosen, would have to be adaptable, very well socialized and trainable to fit in. Fern is all of that and more. We are impressed with how social she is - and how friendly she is with any person or dog. She seamlessly alternates between farm dog life where she has free run of the property, to city life where she's in hand on a leash . She was easy to crate train and loves to travel. Overall, the experience getting Fern from a trusted breeder was second to none. There was confidence in purchasing from a family with deep roots in the livestock industry - people that know animals and understand the role that genetics play in their social and physical development. The fact that the litter that Fern came from was raised in a home and treated like family is certainly seen in her confident and gentle nature. Thank you! I just wanted to send a few pictures your way. I know he hasn't been gone that long, but just wanted to show you how well he's fitting in. I can tell you he has melted our hearts, and that little face is just the cutest. We have quite a few people who have asked where he was from, so kudos for the awesome job. The cats have finally gotten used to him and looks like the boundaries have been set. In all honesty, he really isn't too interested in the cats, he tends to want to be pretty close to us at all times. It's so cute!"

I'd been following select MAS breeders, including Milldamcreek, for years as I knew I wanted a Mini American in the future. Then one day a post from Kelly happened to come up on Facebook for a puppy that sounded just like the sort of dog I like, and they needed a home! I knew what I was getting into with my "spicier" puppy, as Kelly knows her breed and her dogs, and what sort of family will suit her puppies.

Since then, Junior Mint has grown into a great little dog. She's quickly become my confident partner for everything; from daily life, to outdoor adventures, to dog sports. I appreciate that Mint and I can have an ongoing relationship with Kelly, as well. A truly well-bred dog has a really good breeder behind them, and that's what Kelly is.

I had a great experience adopting a puppy through Milldamcreek. They were quick at answering my questions and accommodated me whenever I wanted to visit my puppy! When I picked a new name for him, they started calling him that right away, which was great because he was more used to it by the time he came home with us. They even prepared a cute little take-home package to help with the transition. The puppies are raised in a house with a large backyard so they get lots of fresh air and exercise. The house is also pretty busy so the pups are well socialized with other dogs, adults, etc. If I ever decide to get another puppy, I would more than likely return to Milldamcreek.

Milldamcreek Miniature American Shepherds has made the process of getting a dog very easy and they have supported me since the day I messaged them.
