Cammy is crate trained, house trained, leash trained, and travels like a dream in the car. UTD on current vaccinations, and microchipped. She has some reserve with new people but generally warms up quickly. She has some reserve with new dogs as well, but again warms up once she gets to know them. She is genuinely a very kind dog. She is very food motivated. I can see her having fun in Agility, Rally-O and Sprinter, so I would love to see her with someone who was interested in exploring any of those venues with her (even just for fun, not necessarily competitively). She has 4/10 points towards her Canadian Championship.
Cammy is currently intact as I held her back for my program, but I am looking to downsize a bit. I would love to use her in my program, so if you are open to Guardianship, the Guardian fee is substantially less and incentives apply upon contract completion (essentially, in exchange for allowing me to have 1-2 litters from her, I provide compensation per litter and pay to spay her at the end - I also complete all breed relevant health testing at my expense with Guardianship). After great consideration, Flint’s guardian family has made the extremely difficult decision to allow us to find Flint a home more suitable to his capabilities.
Flint is 5 years old, a CKC Champion, and has produced multiple CKC Grand Champions and a CKC Champion. He has also produced some lovely pets for all three breeders who own him. When he bonds to you he is the sweetest, goofy boy. He is looking for a quiet household with a woman/women or couple, and no children. A quiet rural home with a fenced in back yard is ideal. He is good with other dogs. House trained and crate trained. We think Flint would benefit from some obedience classes at a reputable facility and/or private lessons with a balanced/motivational-based trainer (we can recommend a few in the Ottawa area). Adoption fee for Flint is reasonable to allow new family to invest in some training to help with the transition to his new home. Charlie is a CKC Champion herself and has been an excellent producer, with 1 CKC Champion and 1 Grand Champion in conformation to her credit and numerous lovely pets! She has earned a retirement where she can be the centre of her owners world.
Charlie will be looking for a moderately active retired couple, or someone who works from home with a quiet household (no children, no constant visitors). She would likely be fine with a cat or another similarly sized dog who will not bully her. She takes some time to warm up to new people (ignoring her and pretending she doesn't exist is usually the fastest way to have her warm up) and appreciates a laid back personality; she just does not seem to "vibe" with someone who is super high energy or anxious. She can be quite active when she wants to be, but it's generally short lived. Her favourite place to be is curled up in your bed or on the couch. She does like to dig out of our dog run when left to her own devices for too long, so expect to supervise her in your backyard or have her tied as a precaution (she doesn't really go anywhere, but prefers to satisfy her urge for adventure than recall...unless there is a food offering. Food = Life in Charlie's world). She is 20lbs and just a hair under 14" tall. Very used to travelling in the car. House and crate trained. She will not be available until after she is spayed. She will only go to the perfect situation, and will continue to be loved by us until we find that for her. Fee: To be determined |
